Purpose: Test binning and gamma pT cut region Generation of ATGC samples- BAUR NLO Use H30(ϒ) for an example • With BAUR NLO package, we generate 61 sample with H30(ϒ) from -0.03 – 0.03 with step 0.001 • pt(γ) > 45GeV, |η(ϒ)|<2.37 ; • pt(l) > 25GeV, |η(l)|<2.47 ; • pt(jet)>20GeV, |η(jet)|<3.0 ; • dR(l,ϒ) > 0.7 ; • M(llϒ)>100GeV; •  =2TeV • efract =0.5 • used pdf: cteq6m • Data: period D-H(~ 1 fb-1) • using tag p605 • use exactly the same event selection except: pt_gamma >45GeV M(μμϒ)>100GeV IPAS&USTC

  4. Extract ATGC parameters-H30G Purpose: Test binning and gamma pT cut region 1. Binning: 45-55, 55-65,65-75,75-100,100-500 Use Minus LogLikelihood bin-by-bin fitting Vtot: expected events ni: observed events in ith bin 60 SM BAUR Sample Vs. data(83events) -0.014<h30(G)<0.014 90% CL -Log(L) Value of 61 sets Normalize MC’s 1st bin to data IPAS&USTC

  5. Extract ATGC parameters-H30G Purpose: Test binning and gamma pT cut region 1. Binning: 60-500 Use Minus LogLikelihood bin-by-bin fitting Help our normalization SM BAUR Sample Vs. data(83events) -0.024<h30(G)<0.024 90% CL 60GeV -Log(L) Value of 61 sets Just use >60GeV 1 bin Same normalization method with slide 4 IPAS&USTC

  6. Purpose: Test binning and gamma pT cut region Principle the binning should have little effect on our result, but it seems the result is affected any how just use high pt region make our result worse? IPAS&USTC

  7. Back up 1. Binning: 45-55,55-60,60-500 -0.024<h30(G)<0.024 90% CL IPAS&USTC
