  1. LICITACIÓN DE PRT 10 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2004

PRINCIPALES ASPECTOS DE LA LICITACIÓN • Se licitan PRT en todo el país, excepto regiones I, II, y V, para asegurar la competencia en la operación. • En cada región se establecen concesiones que agrupan a dos o más plantas. • Cada proponente puede adjudicarse sólo una concesión por Región. • La evaluación técnica se hace en base a antecedentes objetivos de calificación. • La adjudicación se realiza al proponente que, habiendo cumplido los mínimos técnicos, presenta una menor tarifa a los usuarios. • Plazo concesión 10 años.

  3. RESULTADOS • Se vendieron un total de 156 bases de licitación. • Se presentaron 88 propuestas (51 Proponentes) para 23 concesiones a lo largo del país. Esto permitió que se registrara competencia en prácticamente todas las regiones. • Se han adjudicado las 10 regiones a licitar. Queda pendiente una Unidad de Negocio en la III Región, declarada desierta en el actual proceso. Será licitada próximamente. • Los precios máximos en el país fluctúan entre $6.800 y $10.800, para los vehículos particulares, con la excepción de la XI región, donde la tarifa máxima puede llegar a $15.000 (hoy es de $14.000). • Para camiones y buses, la tarifa máxima estará entre $3.000 y $18.500; y entre $3.500 y $9.700 para taxis y minibuses. • El inicio de operaciones de las nuevas plantas está proyectado para el primer semestre del año 2005.
