Join Camp Invention from June 22-26, 2015 at the City of Hobart School to ignite your passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills. Engage in modules such as KartWheel, Design Studio: Illuminate, Inducted, and I Can Invent: Next Level Gamers. Open to students entering grades 1-6, boys and girls. Scholarships available.

  2. Camp Invention promotes: • Science • Technology • Engineering • Math skills

  3. Illuminate Program

  4. KartWheel • In the KartWheel™module, children let their engineering skills glide them across the finish line as they build, enhance and upgrade their very own freestyle racing cart.

  5. Design Studio: Illuminate • Boys and girls will explore what it means to prototype a product from scratch as they become an entrepreneur during the Design Studio: Illuminate™ module.

  6. Inducted • In the Inducted™module, personalized video challenges from National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees are introduced along with hands-on activities like constructing super-structure mega-towers, assembling out-of-this-world space rockets and so much more!

  7. Illuminate! • In the I Can Invent: Next Level Gamers™module, participants will take apart broken or unused appliances using real tools to create a physical video game model in the 3rd dimension!

  8. STEM for All Camp Invention services… • Students entering grades 1-6. • Boys and Girls

  9. Scholarships In the past 3 years, the HEF and our PTO’s have sent 24 students to camp on full scholarships and have helped fund an additional 65 students to attend.
