  3. Why Dance class? • The variety of dances work different muscles • Burns more calories • More styles for what suit you best

  4. Variety of styles • Picking different styles can work different muscles. • Work muscles like: • Calves • Quads • Abdominals • Back muscles • Triceps and Biceps • Heart

  5. Muscles worked during gym class • Gym only works out muscles depending on what your doing… • Regular class • Jogging- calves, quads, abdominals, and heart • Volleyball- quads, glutes, lower back, calves, and heart

  6. Burns more Calories • Dance Class • 35 minutes of dancing, 230 calories • Regular Gym Class • 10 minutes of jogging, 80 calories • 25 minutes of volleyball, 98 calories That’s a grand total of 178 of gym compared to 230 in dancing.
