Romans • Be sure to have some idea of when they were in England • Hearth – hint when in ______ do (speak) as the ________ • Diffusion – it’s the upper classes, so that would be _______, the military occupation isn’t really diffusion (any more then the Americans in Iraq) • Isolation – nope – if anything it’s the opposite • Acculturation – very, very limited – thin veneer of upper class and some Toponyms • Evolution – no evidence
