Write the word and its definition • Constant: Not changing or varying – The water was at a constant temperature • Imply: To suggest or indicate without actually saying – People who imply they know more than they actually do • Specify: To identify clearly and definitely – The people that complained failed to specify the school that the students were from • Civil: relating to ordinary people and their concerns (rather than military or religious) – Civil aviation • Implicate: To show someone is involved in a crime or to convey a meaning indirectly – He could implicate the government in the murder of three judges.
