Characteristics of each level Using chart paper, your book and your partner, create user friendly characteristic you may find at each level to share with the group • Level 0-visualization (2 participants) • Level 1-Analysis (2 participants) • Level 2-Informal Deduction (3 participants) • Level 3-Deduction (2 participants) • Level 4-Rigor (2 participants) • Characteristics of the van Hiele Levels (3 participants)

  8. Case Study 3 Read introduction -read privately Case Study 3 and answer the following questions either during or after you are finished reading -Discuss -What level(s) do you believe Evelyn is at? Are there signs of movement or is there movement to the next level?

  10. Circle the Triangles • Now take a look at your “circle the triangle” homework and see what level your students are on and the vocabulary they are using. • Share your findings
