D-backs community outreach • D-backs charitable giving totals $25.8 million since 1997 • Includes $17.2 million from Foundation and $6.8 million from club • 2010 United Nations NGO Positive Peace Award recipient • Funds programs such as Arizona RBI, field building and season ticket scholarships

  7. Foundation fundraising • 2011 goal - $2.5 million • Evening on the Diamond - $1.3 million • Other fundraisers include • Fan Fest Yard Sale • Mystery Ball • World Series Ring Raffle • Online Auctions • 50/50 Raffle

  8. D-backs give back 50/50 raffle • Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday home game • Volunteers sell raffle tickets - $2 each or 3 for $5 • One winner at the end of the night receives ½ the net proceeds • 2011 Goal - $100,000 • 2011 YTD - $74,762

AdSport FellowshipSFTCS Brand Ambassador / Street Team Member • Interact with participants and spectators at each event • Serve as a brand ambassador for State Farm & SFTCS • Answer questions about State Farm and the SFTCS • Assist AdSport and State Farm staff with various on-site tasks and promotions • Be knowledgeable about the SFTCS • Drive Fans to the SFTCS Facebook Page • Gather entries for an iPad2 given away during each game

How to Become A Member • Go to Orgsync.com • Select login on the top right corner of the page • Choose “Arizona State University” as your community • Click to sign up with your campus ID • Scroll down and fill out your name and email and select next • Select “Join an Org” in the center of the menu bar at the top of the page • Select “Add an Organization” • Search for “Sports Business Association” and it will appear on the bottom of the screen • Select “Join Organization” and Enter the Password “sportsbiz” • Select “Forms” on the right hand side of the page • Go to Page 3 of Forms • Select and Fill out 2011-2012 SBA Membership Form • Directions also available online • Checks made out to “Arizona State University Sports Business Association” • Cash accepted, Debit and Credit Cards through Paypal • Contact VP of Finance-Praveen Nanja for Any Questions @ • pnanja@asu.edu or (408) 482-0716
