Target audience: Women in their 20s, 30s because of the elegant and mature as well as sexy look. Neutral face expression, neither smiling or frowning, looking confidently into the camera. . Two photographs, one a long shot of the outfit and a close up of the models face. Layout: Logo in the corner, two photos of the model one a close-up one a whole length photo.

  2. Colour scheme: The colours used are dark: brown, red and blue. The only colours that stand out is the colour of her pale skin. They add to the sexy and powerful look conveyed through her facial expression. Target audience: Young adults, women, 16-25 are targeted through the sexy, partyish and fierce look of the model. Model: Her facial expression is quite powerful, fierce, even though we can not see her eyes she looks sexy and powerful her lips is the main focus point. Her clothes aren’t in focus it’s the sunglasses and ring that are sold here. Layout: The River Island logo at the bottom, quite big in comparison to the H&M logo, the model is in the middle, quite a close up shot.

Music: The music used in the video is calm and related to summer, as the ad is called 100 days of Summer. Model: The people taking part in the ad are all skinny, tanned, tall. There are many panning shots like these where body is the main focus, they last longer than shots of people wearing more clothes. The people are young and attractive. Target audience: Young people, teenagers, young adults are targeted in this New Look ad by the video of young people partying.
