Online Math Tutoring Now you can get the tutoring help you need from anywhere you have access to a computer. We provide math tutoring for the following classes: Math 050 Math 060 Math 070 Math 080. Math 115 Math 121 Math 122 Math 140 Math 155 Math 161 Math 171.

  1. Online Math Tutoring Now you can get the tutoring help you need from anywhere you have access to a computer.

  2. We provide math tutoring for the following classes: Math 050 Math 060 Math 070 Math 080 Math 115 Math 121 Math 122 Math 140 Math 155 Math 161 Math 171 Who can use online math tutoring?

  3. Hours of Operation Monday, Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm

  4. How do I access online math tutoring? • Online math tutoring can be directly accessed at the following web page: http://www.cpcc.edu/academic_learning/OnLineTutoring.htm • Or you can also access the same page through the CPCC webpage by going to: • Cpcc.edu then • Click on current students tab at the top • Click on Academic Assistance • Click on Online Tutoring

  5. Once you get to the online tutoring page do the following: • Use your student SNAP account information to login • Click on “Open Math” • Click on “Submit” • You will see the “Welcome” page • Click on “Join Live Session” • Enter your question in the “Chat” box • You may use the toolbar to the left to draw any graphs, shapes or symbols

  6. If you have any questions while logging on please contact Mark Perryman at: • 704 330-6352 • Mark.Perryman@cpcc.edu • Come by the Academic Learning Center in CH103

  7. Once you have successfully entered the live tutoring session this is what the screen looks like:

  8. You can type your questions and comments in the chat box at the bottom of the screen.

  9. Use the tool bar on the left side of the screen to make math symbols.

  10. These are the main functions that will allow you to get the help you need in online math tutoring. If you have any questions about how to do anything just ask the tutor. We are well aware that most people have never used a tool like this before.

  11. Just remember: as soon as you log in to the live session a bell should ring on the computer in the math lab letting the tutor know that you are there. If for any reason a tutor does not respond within a few seconds after you log in please call 704 330-6352 to let us know that you are there.

  12. Also Remember: online tutoring can be accessed from anywhere that has internet capability.

  13. So don’t spend another minute worrying because you can’t make it down to the math lab during their regular hours.

  14. Let online math tutoring put your mind at ease.
