  2. Fast Facts • CEO Alan Newman and CFO Mark Cohen founded Newmark Production in 1990. Newmark maintains office in New York and Los Angeles and currently employs more then 500 people. Since its founding, Newmark has released 50 feature films and 7 Emmy-winning television programs.

  3. Departments • Six departments provide the foundation for Newmark’s award-winning work. Production, Distribution, Marketing/Publicity/Promotions, Television, Merchandising, and Interactive.

  4. Production • The production department is responsible for making the movies from start to finish. The movie production process begins with a story and scrip development. After a scrip is selected and purchased, a budget is assigned and a production schedule is developed. A director and cast are the selected and pre-production begins. After the movie is filmed, it goes into the finial stage of post-production, where the director and Newmark agree on a finial cut.

  5. Marketing/Publicity/Promotions • The Marketing/Publicity/Promotions Departments work to promote the films.
