  2. Who is your Unsung Hero? • Throughout history, people have changed the world seeking neither reward nor recognition. We call these people Unsung Heroes. • Today, we are going to honor out Unsung Heroes. Think of someone who has profoundly touched your life – your personal hero. • Your Unsung Hero may or may not be relate to you, but the person cannot be famous.

  3. Who is your Unsung Hero? • Step 1: Brainstorm and complete the “Constructing Support” Graphic Organizer • Who is it? • What 3 reasons make this person an unsung hero? • What details or examples support those reasons?

  4. Who is your Unsung Hero? • Step 2: Write an essay describing your Unsung Hero. • What heroic characteristics does this person demonstrate and how has she or he had an impact on your life? • Complete this on loose-leaf paper.

  5. Who is your Unsung Hero? • Step 3: Create a “Graffiti Wall” • On a piece of construction paper or computer paper, design a colorful display of words, images, and symbols that describe your Unsung Hero. • Be creative and have fun!
