  1. Cast Iron Chef III

Rules • All contestants must prepare food on site within the established cooking time of 12-4pm. • Contestants ARE allowed and encouraged to bring their own source of shade. • Cheering sections are permitted but they must stay out of the cooking area. • Items must be cooked on cast iron or on grates in the fire pits. • Food must be ready to serve when the cooking time expires • No whining, crying, tantrums, or bribery is permitted.

  3. Provided Items • 1 Bag of match-light charcoal. Contestants may provide their own charcoal if they do not • like match-light. • 1 package of aluminum foil. • 1 match • Secret ingredient. • Warning there will be a surprise during the contest.

  4. Permissible Items • Cast Iron cookware • Metal Grill grates • Pans, pots, Tupperware, coolers, forks, knives, spoons, plates, • Sunglasses, hats, beer, canned soups, canned vegetables, whole produce, • Latex gloves, plastic tubs and dishwashing liquid, tattoos, earrings, • Wigs, striped shirts, passport, credit cards, crocks, snuggies, flattops, • Mohawks, necklace of garlic, zombie repellant, zombie attractants, • Surgical mask, beach towels, beach balls, umbrellas, lawn chairs, and • Coconut laden African swallows.

  5. Prohibited Items • Packages of spiced rubs or sauces (steak Sauce, BBQ Sauce etc.) • Electric cooking products of any kind • Gas or propane grills • Any pre-cooked food items, except bacon or sausage • Politicians, mimes, children, shrunken heads, knights that say nee, • Alligators, clowns, any Kardashian, whiners, winos, weasels, wombats, • Coconut laden European swallows, And Hugh jackman.

  7. If you want to compete • RSVP patrick_denis_stoker@Hotmail.comby 30 June 2014. This is a first come first serve situation, so only the first five RSVP’s will compete. • Please include your full name in your email.

  8. If you want to judge • RSVP patrick_denis_stoker@Hotmail.comby 30 June 2014. There is a need for five judges. three of the five judges will come from the area 51 crew (they must rsvp as well). two will come from guest of Midwest Geobash that are camping outside of area 51. On the 30th of June, • I will randomly draw the names from a hat and notify the winners. • Judges need to be present for the opening at 12pm sharp and must be in area 51 during the event. Judges may move amongst the contestants during the cooking. Judges will need to check in with MrTankhoundsat area 51 prior to the start time of 12pm.
