Sub-regional coordination: two formal meetings in 2010 • Closer collaboration with WAHO • Joint linking up with monthly HHA Conference calls and with ESAR coordination meeting • A regularly updated matrix on what is ongoing in the Countries and what are the support requirements • Joint or coordinated support missions and promotion of South-South cooperation • Joint preparation of this RD meeting Formal HHA framework…

Frequent contacts and touching base on progress in countries and need for support • Sharing of consultants • Promoting an inclusive HHA at the country level – and at regional level (JURTA, HA) • Encouraging countries to join IHP+ • Spill over to “programmatic issues” – Champion for Nutrition Provides opportunities for informal harmonisation

  4. Progress on the “pharmaceuticals” CoP • Excellent progress on the “financial access to health services” CoP • Some interesting progress on the “service delivery” CoP (mapping, documenting) • Progress on the “HR” CoP • Study on investment in vaccines And promotes CoPs and joint analytical work

We agreed to share all ToRs for studies and reports …. • We agreed to progress towards a joint regional meetings calendar …. • We agreed to ensure regular communication towards the country teams…. • We agreed on a more systematic follow up of the RDs’ letters…. • We agreed on more CoPs…. • Not all agencies equally engaged… ? Is it just a matter of resources? What needs improvement?
