  2. Grouping Activity An incredible grouping activity for this investigation would be to bring in four different types of canned soft drinks and let each person choose a drink when they enter the classroom. The drink chosen would determine the group they sit in.

  3. Investigation 5 Goals: • To further develop operation sense, the ability to choose the numbers and operations needed to answer specific questions from given information. • To investigate how small quantities can accumulate to produce a large quantity.

  5. Guided Reading Read the following article and write a brief reflection. “Cleaning Up Hog Waste in North Carolina” After individual reflection, share with your group.
