  3. 2010 Law Firms Survey There are 39 firms >50 lawyers (20% of Aus. legal profession) Av. pro bono hours per lawyer was 29. Av participation rate was 58.8%. Av.% of total practice income was 2%. Stronger figures in Target firms. RRR work -13 firms only -average 15% of their pro bono work. Twenty-one firms (72%) had a community service program.   7. More work for Individuals or Organisations? Twelve firms (41%) reported doing significantly more work for organisations, and nine firms (31%) reported doing significantly more pro bono work for individuals. Eight firms (28%) reported doing approximately the same for both.
