  2. Sankat Mochan Temple A very popular temple in Shimla, Sankat Mochan temple is situated on Kalka-Shimla highway. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and was commissioned by Baba Neem Karoli.

  3. Tara Devi Temple Tara Devi is a 250 years old temple in Shimla. The temple is situated about 15kms from the town of Shimla on Kalka-Shimla Highway near Shoghi. It is believed that Tara Devi was the Kull Devi (Family Deity) of Sen Dynasty, who came from the eastern state. According to legends, the temple was commissioned by Bhupendra Sen, who ordered to build a temple for Maa Tara Devif Bengal.

  4. Jakhoo Temple Jakhoo Temple is one of the most popular temples in Shimla tour package. It is situated at a height of 8500ft and its tall Hanuman statue makes an important landmark of the town. The temple statue of Lord Hanuman, which is indeed a major attraction in Shimla.

  5. Hidimba Temple Hidimba is the most popular temple in Manali; it is in fact the most famous tourist attraction here as well. Dedicated to Hidimba Devi. This temple is built around a cave amidst a thick forest. In this temple, devotees come to worship Hidimba Devi, who once meditated, prayed and did penance here. The temple catches the eye of the tourists due to its excellent architecture.

  6. Bhimakali Temple Bhimakali Temple is a very famous Hindu temple of Durga. It is situated on the bank of river Beas. The main deity of the temple is Goddess Bhima Kali -an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Inside the temple, there are exclusive images of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. The Architecture of the temple is its biggest attraction for the tourists.

  7. Chamunda Temple The famous Temple of Mata Chamunda and is located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Hamunda Devi Mandir is at a distance of 10 km from Palampur, on the banks of Baner River. It is also known as ‘Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham’.

  8. Chinnamastika Temple It is the famous Hindu temple of Mata Chintapurni. It is surrounded by the western Himalayas in the north. The simple structure of the temple contains the main shrine, where the image of Mata Chintpurni is placed in the form a pindi (a round stone). During the time of Navratras, the temple observes grand fairs and festivity.
