  2. Naomi House, MLIS-Graduated from Rutgers in 2011-100% online program-Non-traditional student-Worked as staff for 6 years before finding my librarian position

  3. Kismet? I found my job on the DC/SLA listserv It was only advertised there & on the Catholic University listserv Why did finding job postings have to be so hard?

  4. I Need a Library Job!!! What did I want? How could I help my classmates? listservs + websites+ job scrapers = a Master List Along with Elizabeth Leonard we began I Need a Library Job!!!

  5. INALJ I = Personalized Need = We all need to work to live Library = Still the unifying term (MLS) Job = Work – the whole point!

  8. Strategy • What are your limits? Location? • What won’t you compromise on? • Do you want a job or a library job? • Join listservs!!! • Blogs! Twitter! FB! • Non-library jobs! • Never rely on only one source.
