  1. Identifying the Early Signs of Troubles in a Relationship Every relationship faces challenges and obstacles and leaving these issues aside can cause couples to go adrift from one another, thus putting immense pressure on couples. These issues, if left unattended, can form cracks in a relationship and can cause couples to fall out of love with one another. Communicate with your spouse: A major reason why couples tend to develop misunderstandings is that they fail to communicate with one another in an effective manner. Not only do they suppress their emotions, but also fail to communicate their emotions and often end up saying or doing something that may unknowingly hurt the other person. Speak with your spouse and try to get an understanding of their emotional state of mind, in order to avoid such situations. Consult a professional: While it is good for couples to deal with issues by themselves from time to time, there may be occasions where they would need to consult a professional, such as a San Diego couples therapist, in order to deal with the problems in their relationship. Not only do professional therapists help you get a better understanding, but also identify the differences and how to deal with them effectively. Spend more time: In today's busy times, couples often fail to spend quality time with one another, often failing to take an interest in each other's lives and failing to understand their emotions. These communication gaps often cause couples to feel ignored and deprived by their spouse, which causes relationships to fail. Go out more often,

  2. spend some time getting to know about each other’s work life and where they are at emotionally, thus being more involved in the relationship. Relationships require you to invest time and love with your better half and by doing so, you can be assured that your relationship is a successful one.
