  4. Who? Definition(s) of keypopulations-MSM (men who have sex with men)- injecting drug users-sex workers(+ e.g. transgender persons, prisoners, uniformedpersonnel, people with disabilities, migrants, etc. etc.)

  5. Why? • Injecting drug users: 22 x • MSM: 13 X • Sex workers: 13 x

  6. Barriers • Policies • Stigma & discrimination • Criminalization • Funding

  7. How? • -Involvement in programs • -Community-basedapproaches • -Collectevidence • -Acknowledge the structural drivers • -Advocacy for the rights of key populations • -Stand-alone services or integrated services?
