  3. SDP1 – Choosing shots for the story… What am I researching? • Camera Angles • Camera Shots • Genres of film – E.G. How shots and angles differ from a romantic comedy to a thriller. • What affect the different shots have on film, and how they show the story • Film techniques • Film directing • Digital film – making • Music • Narrative structures • Storyboards

WHY MULTIMEDIA PLATFORM? • My interest – I want to develop my skills and knowledge. • Technology & Social media – Daily • New experience for the audience • Different media platforms could either benefit or Disadvantage the performance – Depending on the audiences ‘Reader Response’ and ‘Communities’ • I won’t use a platform unless I have a sufficient reason. E.G QR codes. Why? What part do they play in the story, what do they cannote?

By the end of SDP1 • To have gained and put into practice knowledge of how to choose/film the correct shots for the story. • To have gained and put into practice directing for film. • By the end of SDP1 – My goal is to have the film concept of the Transmedia piece filmed and edited. • For SDP2 I will then focus on other elements of the Transmedia show.
