  1. RETREAT • It’s an inner journey and a moment of grace as you keep in touch with your deepest selves, the core where you will encounter the Lord who loves you unconditionally, who heals you, forgives you and makes you whole.

  2. RETREAT • n.) The place to which anyone retires; a place or privacy or safety; a refuge • (n.) A period of several days of withdrawal from society to a religious house for exclusive occupation in the duties of devotion; as, to appoint or observe a retreat.

  3. RETREAT • In the religious and spiritual sense, when a person says that he is going to a retreat, he means that he is withdrawing from society to a quiet place for prayer, study, to reflect or to meditate.

  4. It is a special time of solitude and silence to engage in adoration or religious exercises. It usually covers a period of a few days and it usually held at a religious house.

  5. Retreats also serve the purpose of spiritual growth, improving one's closeness with God, taking the time to listen and hear God's voice in one's heart.

  6. REMINDERS • NAMETAGS • NO CELLPHONES AND OTHER GADGETS WHICH MAY BE DISTRACTING TO SILENCE, SOLITUDE, PRAYER, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. • CAMERAS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ADVISER FOR SAFEKEEPING BEFORE THE RETREAT STARTS. These may be claimed after the Mass.

  7. Things to be brought… • Notebook • Ballpen • Bible • Rosary • Guitar (for those who will play/use it during the mass) • Canned goods

  8. Follow rules and regulations of the retreat house • Maintain order and cleanliness in the sleeping quarters, dining hall, session halls and surroundings. • Beadle please check the attendance

  9. Prepare for the Eucharistic celebration • Make it more meaningful… • Practice the song…

  10. ASSIGNMENTS: • 1. Over-all Coordinator • Supervises discipline/behavior of the class and observance of SILENCE. • 2. Assistant Coordinators • Assist the over-all coordinator by supervising the behavior of the class in designated places assigned to them. • DINING ROOM,CHAPEL SHOWER ROOM, COMFORT ROOM, CONFERENCE ROOM

  11. DORMITORY • Supervises silence in the dormitory and strictly implements the NO BED-HOPPING policy.
