  1. Changing information in Indistar® • Assessment Step • Plan/Tasks Step • Monitoring Step • Flag to Re-assess

  2. Assessment Step • No Development – Not a Priority OR Full Implementation: • Since no plan exists for an indicator that is fully implemented or not a priority, a leadership team may change the level of implementation at any time. When the level is changed, the team will also be asked to rate the priority and opportunity scores, and provide a description of current assessment. • No Development – Will Include in Plan OR Limited Development: • If no plan exists yet, a team may update the level of development, priority and opportunity scores, as well as the description. • If a plan does exist, the team may not change the level of implementation. However, they can update their scores and description.

  3. Plan/Tasks Step • Remember, not all assessed indicators are in your plan. You choose which objectives to plan for. The others will sit idle until you are ready to work with them. • All objective dates, plans, and tasks are editable. As a team, if your priorities change, change the target date to reflect that. • Even objectives that have been completed through a series of tasks can be re-opened at any point by simply going back and adding a task in ‘Create Plan’.

  4. Monitor Step • In the Monitoring step, once all tasks have been completed, the team will decide if the objective has been met or still needs more work. If more work is needed, the team should add more tasks in the “Create Plan” step.

  5. Flag to Re-assess Flag to Re-assess is a feature that will tag… • indicators initially assessed as fully implemented, • indicators initially assessed as no development/not a priority, • and objectives met with a plan and completed tasks… • …more than two years ago, to be re-assessed by the school or district team. • A flag on the main menu page will alert teams when they have indicators that are marked for re-assessment.

  6. Flag to Re-assess – The Assessment Stage • Indicators that have been flagged to be re-assessed are reset in the Assessment process with a link to their history. • In the Assessment step, they are marked to ‘Re-assess’.

  7. Flag to Re-assess – Archiving History School and district teams will be able to access all previous work history for any indicator marked for re-assessment by clicking on the ‘Indicator History’ link located in Assess, Create, or Monitor. Indicator History

  8. Re-assessing an Indicator Indicator History School and district teams will be able to access all previous work history for any indicator marked for re-assessment by clicking on the ‘Indicator History’ link located in the Assess, Create, or Monitor steps.

  9. Flag to Re-assess Report A new report will give school and district teams access to a list of indicators marked for re-assessment. A filter on the report will allow teams to see complete history details for these indicators as well.
