  3. ‘Hotspot’ Meertaligheid • Fryslân: ‘laboratory of multilinugalism’ • Gemeenschappelijk lectoraat van:- Stenden hogeschool - NHL hogeschool (penvoerder) - Fryske Akademy (afgehaakt) • Bekostiging: 50% prov. Fryslân / UCF

  4. Doelstelling • Aansluiting tweetalig / drietalig basisonderwijs > voortgezet onderwijs • Versterking relatie basis- & v.o. • Versterking relatie lerarenopleiding met meertalige scholen

  5. Onderzoek (1) • Taalbeheersing Fries (woordenschat, leesvaardigheid) geijkt aan:- referentieniveaus Taal en ERK (= Europees Referentiekader)- Anglia-toetsen (of: Me! English) • Dr. Reitze Jonkman (CVO Bogerman)

  6. Onderzoek (2) • Activerende en outputgerichte didactiek in groep 7 & 8 basisonderwijs,bewust gebruik transfer tussen de drie doeltalen Nederlands-Engels-Fries. • Drs. Eabele Tjepkema (Stenden) • Promotor: Kees de Bot (RUG)

  7. Actie-onderzoek (1) • ‘Vak en voertaal’ = Taalgericht vakonderwijs= Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) • Bijv.: Ondersteuning wiskunde in Engels door Erasmus-student (‘native speaker’)

  8. Actie-onderzoek (2) • My Schools Network > My Multilingual Schools Network • Schrijfvaardigheid door authentieke opdrachten (“events”) in echte communicatie met leerlingen elders • Closed facebook system ! • Drs. Roelien Bos-Wierda (NHL)

  9. Onderwijs • Minor Meertaligheid (30 EC) • Master Multilingualism (60 EC) • Gastcolleges, bijv.:- Drietalige PABO-stroom (Ljouwert)- ITEPS (Meppel)- Master-opleiding Euskadi (Donostia)- Themaweek Streektaalonderwijs (Emmen)- Ostfriesische Landschaft (Aurich)

  14. Wat meertalig onderwijs • Van systeemscheiding tussen mto / vto > TTO-plus> inclusief regionale talen • “English is notenough” • Mother tongue + 2 otherlanguages> 2 M + 2 = ‘range of source and target languages’

  15. Resultaten meertalig onderwijs • Leerresultaten op gelijkwaardig niveau in nationale taal, regionale taal en internationale taal – MITS: • Taalrijke input • Systematisch onderwijs • Continuïteit • Kwaliteit

  16. Internationalisering • Alle scholen doen aan internationalisering • Internationalisering begint bij de buren: - Ems-Dollard Regio: uitwisseling leerkrachten en lerarenopleiders Frysk- Nedersaksisch-Niederdeutsch-Saterfriesisch;- profiel Duits en Nederlands als tweede taal
