  1. Two ways to live our life Matthew 7:13-20

  2. The Narrow gate and the narrow way • An invitation to enter • Small is the gate • I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. ( John 10:9) • Narrow is the way • Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ( John 14:6)

  3. If I will do this? • Am I going to glorify God? • Am I going to offend my brother or sister in Christ? • What other people will say about me?

  4. Narrow Way • Leads to life • Assurance of Life eternal at the end of the road • Jesus is the way , as we walk the way Jesus is with us. • Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

  5. Wide gate and broad is the road • It needs no seeking • Entry into human life leads to destruction • As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” ( Romans 3:10-12)

  6. Whatever the tree is, so is the fruit. • Their fruits not only refer to actions of their lives, but to the doctrines which they proclaim. • Galatians 1:6-9 • 6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

  7. Whatever the tree is, so is the fruit. • Grapes and figs do not grow on thorn bushes or thistles. • Good fruit trees produce good fruit, • But bad fruit trees produce bad fruit. • You will know them by their fruits.

  8. Bearing fruits • Fruit of the spirit • Fruit that last • Fruit of our lips- worship • Fruits that yields in season “We can only produce fruits if we have Jesus in our life , If we enter the small gate and walk in the narrow way.”

  9. Walking on the narrow way bears much fruits that lasts • We were invited to enter the narrow gate? • Have you accepted the invitation? • On our journey to the narrow way • Jesus is with us • we need to be obedient to His word and the we will enjoy our journey. • As we choose to walk that narrow way • Our life will bear fruits that will reveals our relationship with God • A life that glorifies God
