  1. Loser or Conqueror By Matt Thompson

  2. Introduction Hic Harold Rex Interfectus Est. When reading this report you may find out what that means. This man I’m doing is sweet and cool. In this report you may also choose if he is good or evil. So read on!!!!

  3. Dawn of the Conqueror. William the Conqueror was an awesome and noble man. In about 1028 he was born. It is not exact because it is tough to find out.

  4. His Loving Family Not His Father was named Robert the Magnificent. His Mother was named Herleve. Since he was born in Normandy he was French. His birthplace was at Herleve’s parents house.

  5. So young Yet so Vicious He became Duke of Normandy at the age of 6. Since he became duke that meant Robert died. He was sick for a long time. Some other people wanted to become Duke. So they assassinated his helpers. Sometimes he had to flee to peasant houses.

  6. The Duke is taking over He was still Duke even if there was assassins out. Many English people hated him. Even if he was young he still had to fight wars. He is lucky he still survived.

  7. His fight for Love William married Matilda in 1048. His first son was named Robert. I do not know any info on his birth. His second son was named Rufus. Rufus was his favorite son. Rufus joined the first crusade. Robert died on a shipwreck.

  8. He never settles Before William became king of England King Harold swore an oath to protect him. Whatever. All the people did not like him. In return he destroyed villages. This is where you decide what side he is on. He also burned English peoples crops. Too bad he ate large amounts.

  9. The Fights for his life In Hastings a great battle arose. It was the fight for the throne. Edward the Confessor died and Harold and William fought to be king. Harold had twice as many men as William. William was surrounded on every side. Though he still won.

  10. Achieving Comes fast He has been great but let’s take a look back and see what he has done. Back then there were many wars. One that William won was the Battle of Hastings. In that battle he killed king Harold. When he won he conquered England. After the battle a Legate blessed him.

  11. Rest in fights Now it’s over so what side is he on? Before he died Robert stabbed him. He lived 48 years. Then he died on September 9 1087.

  12. Conclusion Well. What did you choose? Well that was not too bad. I will be awaiting your answer in the near future.
