Much lead ore is obtained as a by product of other metal mining Then the smelted ore is formed into bar for shipping.. Batteries require little packaging aside from labels and a plastic carry handle Petroleumis drilled and transported to a refinery & processed into ethylene and propylene. They are combined with additives in a continuous blender& melted. Melted Plastic Pellets are shipped to customers ACID BATTERY The Most Recycled Product The high lead content makes car batteries valuable as scrap. Almost all of the lead in car batteries can be reused. The plastic casing and lead contacts may be recycled as well. Batteries To Go Battery Transport from factory to distributors by trucks, trains and planes where they are sold to the end users. Because of the toxic nature of the electrolyte solution, batteries should stay out of landfills and requires proper disposal. Batteries wear out and must be replaced regularly.
