  2. Introduction Frances Allan, a trained nurse and a kickass mom-of-two and a loving wife, is the founder of the Saving Children in Poverty NGO. On a trip to India, she was moved by the poverty and lack of resources there. After seeing such a worst condition in India she started the Saving Children in Poverty not-for-profit but to help educate the kids who live in the slums, in dire poverty with no access to basic necessities of life such as food, education, healthcare etc.

  4. Educate the Kids -- Open the door to a bright future for them The SCIP ECO (Equality, Compassion, Opportunity) School is a not-for-profit educational institution that provides free education to the children living in the Sector-Four slum of Faridabad, India. 

  5. Healthcare for all -- Everyone deserves on-time medical, quality treatment The free SCIP Clinic serves the community that lives in the slum. It is a free medical clinic where women and children receive free healthcare. Many pregnant women from the slum come there regularly for consultation and see to it that their babies are born healthy. 

  6. Women empowerment -- Creating a level-playing field for both genders The SCIP SEWS project set out to do this incredible task. It has given an honest job opportunity to the women living in the slum. The women receive training for sewing and stitching. After this, they make handcrafted, one-of-its-kind garments and accessories which are sold worldwide through the online store.
