  5. Round Table • You will discuss each question with a cooperative appointment before we share out as a class. Assign scholars a cooperative appointment, then post the first discussion question: • Does the end of gaining Louisiana justify the means of gaining Louisiana? • Does the end of gaining Florida justify the means of gaining Florida? (Use historical evidence to answer question)

Austin • Tejanos • Complete an illustrate timeline of events leading to Texas’ annexation to the United States. • For each year on the timeline, write 1-2 sentences (no more than 2!) about the major event that occurred with Texas in that year.. • Next to the sentence, draw a symbol or image to represent that event (bonus points if it is neatly colored!).
