The San Diego Paralegal Association (SDPA) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of promoting the paralegal profession through awareness, education and public service. • Most notably, SDPA achieves these goals by working with state and national affiliates to address the challenges facing the paralegal profession; offering Continuing Legal Education programs; and advocating involvement in pro bono clinics, • community outreach programs, and local government. SDPA aims to inspire the best in individuals and create leadership opportunities for those willing to take their careers to the next level. https://sdparalegals.org/

The Association’s purpose is to advance the development of the paralegal profession and to provide continuing education programs for paralegals as members of the legal community.   • In context of its specific purpose, the Association shall:  • (i) provide continuing education seminars to the membership; • (ii) establish and maintain communications with other paralegal associations on local, state and national levels; https://sdparalegals.org/

(iii) foster communications with the local, state and national bar associations; • (iv) promote a positive outlook on the profession and encourage the development and growth of both the individual paralegal and the paralegal profession; • (v) encourage a high order of ethical and professional attainment; and (vi) support the programs, purposes, aims and goals of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
