When it comes to 3D printing miniaturas, you must have reasonable expectations in several areas, including quality and cost. There is much more than simply loading the material into the machine and waiting for the perfect miniatures to come out of the construction platform. There are two types of machines you can use to print miniaturas: 3D FDM or FFF printers and 3D SLA printers. Both come with a set of advantages and disadvantages that you should keep in mind. Miniatures for table games and RPGs are more difficult to print in 3D than normal, due in large part to the large amount of detail in the models.
