  6. The OldandNewTownHall • The Old Town Hall is from the 16th century and served as the town hall until 1930. Today there is the Museum of Ostrava . The New City Hall was building in years 1925 – 1930 and serve as the town hall since 1931. It has a 86 meters high tower, which offers a beautiful view of the city.

  8. VlastimilBrodský(1920-2002) • Vlastimil Brodský was a famous Czech actor and longtime member of the acting group in Vinohrady Theatre in Prague. He played for example in the movie Noc na Karlštejně and series Arabela.

  9. Marine aquarium • Ostrava Sea Aquarium is the largest marine aquarium in the region. It offers a permanent exhibition of marine and freshwater fauna and flora. There you can see not just the inhabitants of the ocean, but also the reptiles from Africa as well as monkeys from South America.

  10. The WorldofMiniatures • The World of Miniatures gives you the chance to see miniature models of famous buildings of the world. It's a fun little town made up of more than 30 miniatures in scale 1:25. You can find here for example Eiffel tower, Big Ben, Brandenburg Gate, and Leaning Tower of Pisa.

  11. ZOOOstrava • The zoo was opened on 1st May in 1960. There is 2884 animals. The most popular species are elephants, giraffes, rhinos, tigers, hippos. In 2011, the first elephant calf in the Czech Republic was born here. Baby elephant is named Rashmi.
