If current trends hold true, only 4% of the millennial generation will be evangelical Christians.

Our current society with 35% Baby Boomers as Bible-Based Believers • Increasingly perverted TV, film, music and video games • Proliferation of Internet pornography • Rise of activist government officials promoting gay marriage, attempts to remove the Ten Commandments from public buildings and attempts to remove God from the Pledge of Allegiance
What does a nation with 4% evangelical Christians look like? • Netherlands Legalized Euthanasia. • Pastor arrested for preaching Biblical perspective on homosexuality. • Scotland 14 years old consenting age. • Nudity in newspapers in England.
More than 2/3 of all adults who have given their lives to Christ made their decision before the age of 18.
A Time of Urgency • More than four million exit those impressionable, fruitful teenage years every year. • We have 5 years to turn around the 4%.
If we could affectively kill the national pride and patriotism of just one generation, we will have won that country…

This is the first generation in the history of the World to be more influenced outside the home then inside the home.
Teens watch 3-4 hours of TV per day. • Combined with Video games and video movies, teens may spend anywhere from 35-55 hours per week in front of the screen Wow, that’s a full time job!
Millenial’s and their Music: • Teens listen to nearly 40 hours of radio a week. • More than 25% of teen-targeted radio segments contain sexual content. • 42% of top-selling CDs contain sexual content that is “pretty explicit” or “very explicit.”

The most watched teen network is MTV, where more than 3,000 soft porn images are broadcasted every week.
Study by the RAND corporation demonstrated that Teens who watch a lot of sexualized programming are twice as likely to engage in sexual intercourse themselves.

Millennial’s Sexuality: • Average age of first sex: 15.8 years old. • Average length of first sexual relationship: 3.8 months. • 24.3% of adolescents report having first sex during the same month as the start of the relationship. • 70% of teens ages 13 to 16 know what oral sex is, and more than 6-10 of them say they know at least a few 13-14 year olds who are having oral sex. (NBC and People Magazine). • Each year, approximately three million cases of sexually transmitted diseases are contracted by teens. (U.S. Center for Disease Control).
Millennial’s Sexuality: • Every day, 8,000 teenagers in the US become infected by an STD. • This year, nearly 3 million teens will become infected. • About one quarter of the nation’s sexually active teens have been infected by an STD. • Every year, approximately one million teenagers become pregnant. (U.S. Center for Disease Control). • In 2000, some 240,000 children were born to girls age 18 or younger. Nearly all these teenage mothers were unmarried. • More than 1/3 of all teenage pregnancies in the U.S. end in abortion. (C Trends Data Bank).

The largest consumer of internet pornography is, currently, young people ages 12-17. • 80% of 15-17 year olds have had multiple hard-core porn exposures. • Average age of first internet exposure to pornography is 11. • 90% of 8-16 year olds have viewed porn online (Most while doing homework).
Impotency Industry: Destroying healthy sexual relationships in marriage. Porn industry grosses 57 billion dollars per year. That’s more than the combined yearly revenue flow of NBC, ABC, and CBS. It’s more capital than all professional sports teams, put together, receive in a year. Porn Industry

We have 5 Years • 67% come to Christ before the age of 18. • 90% come to Christ before the age of 20. • What they are when they get there is what America becomes. • We have 5 years to turn around the 4%.
Depressed or MAD! • Judges 19 • CUT UP THE CONCUBINE!
What can be done? • The goal is 100,000 churches fully engaged in reaching this generation by doubling and discipline their youth group each year for the next 5 years.
