What has changed in the past year? • We have gone to a complete HP server platform for all servers. • We now integrate our servers ourselves in our new manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. • All servers are backed by an HP Care Pack where available. Servers will be serviced “in country” where installed. • We used to have HP and Intel Servers in our product line. • We used to have our servers manufactured for us, and had less quality & inventory control. • Intel servers had to be shipped out and a new replacement sent when defective; therefore, possibly longer downtime.

Changes continued… • We now have a direct relationship with Polycom Netherlands for the EMEA theatre, and the full Polycom product line we carry is now offered with a 3 year standard warranty. • We now offer a standard 3 year warranty on all AudioCodes products we sell, as well as more competitive pricing, and a strengthened relationship with AudioCodes. • We used to have only Polycom USA to place orders globally. No direct contacts in EMEA for questions and concerns and a 1 year warranty. • We were only able to offer a 1 year warranty on all AudioCodes products until 1-1-2009.

  7. Logistics and International Shipping • Polycom phones ship from Rotterdam Netherlands • All other products ship from Indianapolis, Indiana USA • Why is a International Shipping Authorization Form required to be on file? • Some Partners like to use their own freight company. • We need a legal VAT number when exporting products, even from Rotterdam. • We need to know how VAT charges will be paid so products can clear customs efficiently.

International Shipping Continued… • Why is it important to have a customs broker? • VAT charges may not be recoverable if you do not have your broker clear the shipment in customs. • DDU allows your broker to pay the taxes and you can possibly recoup those taxes when you file your business taxes. Transportation charges will be billed back to you. • DDP has Interactive Intelligence clear the shipment for you in customs, and records us as the importer of record; therefore, you cannot recover those taxes. We will send you a separate invoice with the taxes in the freight category to reimburse us for the taxes paid on your behalf. • EXW means you have your own freight company pick up the shipment from our dock (or Polycom’s), they transport the product, and act as your broker on your account. No freight or VAT charges are billed by Interactive Intelligence.

  9. RMA’s – What happens when it’s defective? • Call EMEA Support at +44 1753 418 801. Please have your serial number and Company ID number ready. • Once EMEA Support verifies the serial number was purchased from Interactive Intelligence, they will carry out diagnosis to determine if the issue is software or hardware. • If the hardware is defective they will raise an internal ticket with the appropriate RMA department. • Let’s see how specific products are repaired or replaced.

  10. HP Server Products • HP Server Products are sold with a Care Pack where available. • The Care Pack consists of 24x7x365 with a 4 hour response time. Response means HP will contact you to try to fix the problem remotely and if they cannot, arrangements will be made for an on-site visit within 4 hours after your call is logged and availability of replacement parts are confirmed. • If our support team deems a hardware failure, or your unit is DOA you may call HP directly at 1-800-633-3600.

Interaction Gateway, Intel Media Server and AudioCodes • Call EMEA Support for diagnosis. • Replacement unit will be sent Priority Overnight for next day delivery from local theatre or USA. • Reasons shipments could be delayed: • Weather • Customs • Possible time zone difference • How to prevent down time for you and your customers • Purchase spare units in case of emergency • Sell your customer spare units

  12. Polycom Telephones • Call EMEA Support for diagnosis. • If deemed defective replacement unit will be shipped International Economy from the USA. • All power cords (if applicable) must remain in your possession for the replacement unit. If the power cord is the issue a replacement cord will be ordered. • Reasons shipments could be delayed: • Weather • Customs • Possible time zone difference • How to prevent down time for you and your customers • Purchase spare units in case of emergency • Sell your customer spare units
