  2. Sociale zekerheid • grote economische groei maakt uitbouw sociale zekerheid mogelijk • AOW omhoog • Algemene Kinderbijslag (1963) • Algemene Bijstandswet (1965) was het hoogtepunt van de verzorgende rol van de overheid • Daarnaast ook steun op het gebeid van scholing, studie en huursubsidie

Welvaart vs welzijn Jongeren als motor voor veranderingen / eisen veranderingen • In tegenstelling tot ouders niet tevreden met de samenleving • O.a. milieuvervuiling & woningnood • onbetrouwbaarheid oude politici/politiek • met als onderstreping daarvan de val van het progressieve kabinet Cals tijdens “de Nacht van Schmelzer”

  4. Reacties op de oude maatschappij • oprichting nieuwe partijen • Verscherping politiek • links (progressief) • rechts (conservatief) • afzetten tegen ouders/ouderen • pacificatie slaat om in polarisatie • actie- en pressiegroepen ontstaan (provo’s; Dolle Mina)
