  2. Congratulations! • You’ve been accepted into the May Term program. • Now what do you need to do to actually participate in May Term?

  3. May Term Packets! • You will need to pick up a May Term packet in the front office beginning on May 5th. • This packet includes all of the necessary forms in order for you to participate in May Term.

  4. Academic Standing Must maintain good academic standing (C- or better in all classes) You must have a C- or better at the May 2nd and May 16th grade upload. If you do not have a C- or better, you can not participate in May Term.

  5. Attendance Standing Unexcused absence contract = No May Term Excused absence contract = Could possibly be denied

  6. MayTermExpectations Be professional (you are representing EHS & making future connections) Attitude Dress attire Speech etiquette Actions (be punctual, eager) Carry out the project that you proposed in your application Any changes need to be approved by Mrs. Kieffer angkieffer@edina.k12.mn.us

  7. Moodle All May Term participants will be required to Moodle throughout May Term. You must log onto Moodle by May 16th. Directions will be in the main office when you pick up teacher forms. Failure to Moodle throughout May Term = summer school. If you have any questions email Mrs. Kieffer or Ms. Pusateri

  8. Presentation Day/NightMonday, June 2nd Times TBA StudentswillpresenttheMayTermfindingsduringthe school day and in theevening. The Day presentationswillallowteachers and students to viewtheproject/internship and pose questions to you. Theeveningpresentationwillallowcommunitymembers and parents to viewyourMayTermproject/internship.

  9. Presentations • Special requests must be made by May 16th • (email Mrs. Kieffer angkieffer@edina.k12.mn.us) • Dress professionally • Arrive at TBA . This will be in the packet AND on Moodle. Be sure to be checked in (required for graduation) • Stay by your table at all times • Make sure you are checked out by the faculty advisors • Do not leave until the evening is over and a faculty member has been to see you

  10. In order to passMayTerm & GraduateHighSchool Must complete yourMayTermproject MustcommunicatewiththeMayTermadvisorsthroughMoodle MustpresentyourMayTerm at thePresentation Day AND nighton June 2nd.
