  3. The Swiss Simon Ammann, Didier Défago, and Dario Cologna are Switzerland’s three gold medalist and Olivia Nobs is Switzerland’s bronze medalist. As of February 16th, Switzerland has earned 4 medals- three golds and one bronze. They have the most gold medals of any country thus far in this Olympics.

  4. Simon Ammann • World Cup leader • a two-time Olympic champion • won the gold in ski jumping. • He jumped 108.0 meters to earn the Games first gold medal.

  5. Didier Défago • Has given Switzerland its first gold medal in the Olympic downhill since PirminZurbriggen achieved this feat on Canadian snow 22 years ago.’’

  6. Dario Cologna • Won the men's 15-kilometre freestyle cross-country skiing • A result he didn't think he could achieve.

  7. Olivia Nobs • Finished with a bronze medal in the women’s snowboard cross • Was not projected to come away with a medal
