Baseball had hit a combined 3000 homers on average almost every year for 30 years prior to the steroid era, From 1998 until 2006, the league hit over 5000 home runs per year. Historically speaking, when was the steroid era

  5. Organizations aren’t getting what there paying for Many steroid users were offered big contracts during the era, and after stopping steroid usage, they weren’t as productive. Magglio Ordóñez, Jason Giambi were both players reported for taking steroids Ordóñez stats decreased right after signing a big contract with Detroit in 2004, and Giambi was not very productive after signing a big contract with New York. Owners all over the league had players in this situation. Players listed in the Mitchell Commission Report

  6. How will steroid affect Hall of Fame voting Many of the greatest players to ever play the game have been alleged steroid users; Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, McGuire, etc… There hasn’t been a lot time to see how steroids will effect voting. However, observing the number of players who have joined the 500 club in the last decade, the credentials for the Hall of Fame has increased; ex.
