  2. “Urmaţi-Mă”, • ne-a zis Hristos, • Cel ce e-al Meu, să vină! • Să-arunce vechea fire jos, • Să umble fără vină! • Cei ce din morţi • aţi fost treziţi, • Luaţi-Mi crucea şi veniţi!

  3. 2. Eu sunt al vieţii voastre mal, Ce faru-l luminează; Nu-l va zdrobi al nopţii val, Pe-acela ce-Mi urmează. Sunt calea Eu, Mă căutaţi! Pe drumul drept ca să umblaţi.

  4. 3. Cel rău să ispitească vrea, Fugiţi de-a sale planuri, Căci suflet liber veţi avea, Urmând a Mele sfaturi. Sunt ancoră şi scut, catarg, Sunt port în al vieţii larg.

  5. 4. Ţi-e drumul greu? Nu te gândi! Mergi şi vei fi cu Mine; Eu calea ţi-o voi pregăti, Lupta-voi pentru tine. E laş acel ce dă ‘napoi! ‘Nainte, Domnul e cu voi.
