Rutchik Energy Information Administration Meeting of the American Statistical Association (ASA) Committee on Energy Statistics April 19, 2007 This is a working document prepared by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) in order to solicit advice and comment on statistical matters from the American Statistical Association Committee on Energy Statistics. This topic will be discussed at EIAs spring 2007 meeting with the Committee to be held April 19 and 20 2007.

    8. 8 Notifying Respondents One respondent receives complete survey No respondent, though, will fill in every schedule How do we notify respondents about what schedules they will complete and how often?

    9. 9 Questions for the Committee What is the best method to conduct a cognitive or field test with limited time to get the most valid and reliable results? What is the best strategy to notify respondents about the EIA-923?
