About Dholera SIR An all-in-one project that consists of residential, commercial, financial, manufacturing, processing, entertainment and institutional facilities stringed together to present a world class masterpiece. The dream of CM Narendra Modi who enthusiastically quote it as “A new Gujarat within Gujarat”, Dholera Special Investment Region will contain 22 villages of Ahmedabad District of which 19 are of Dhanduka taluka and 3 are of Bharvala taluka. The area of the project is around 872 Sq km, but the actual urban development of SIR area would be approximately 500 Sq km. Dholera is situated in Ahmedabad district in the Gulf of Khambhat. Proximity to Ahmedabad, Dholera has a strong location advantage with a vibrant manufacturing base and investment scenario. Connectivity: National Highway 8 connects the Dholera Special Investment Region with Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar and Mumbai.  As a part of Golden Quadrilateral, the 500 km Mumbai- Ahmedabad- Vadodara Express way connects the region.  Rail connection is being planned for Dholera, while the nearest meter gauge connection is Bhavnagar (34 km) and the nearest broad gauge station is Tarapur (103 km). The developments of the DMIC and the Dholera SIR’s are a certainty and these are historical developments and are happening for the first time in India.
