  3. Why is he so famous ? • He wrote about ordinary people and the difficult life they had. • He wrote his stories in exiteing chapters so people looked forward to the next chapter

  4. birth • Charles dickens was born in ports mouth in febuary in 1812

  5. working • As a young boy he had to work in a factory which was cruel and rats running around the floor was cold dark and miserable

  6. school • He only went to school for a short period and his father regularly in the debtors prison.

  7. Marriage • He married cathrinehogart in 1836 . They were to have 10 children

  8. Other writeings • Dickens wrote many books and articals for the news paper

  9. speeches • Dickens went to america to make speeches agenst slavery

  10. death • He died in 1858 aged 46 and is the most famous buried in london
