Shannon Hemstreet: Honoring Veterans through the Honor Flight Program Shannon Hemstreet has long been committed to the support of military veterans—those who have proudly served their country and who have bravely risked everything in the name of freedom, honor and duty. This commitment to honoring veterans is perhaps nowhere more evident than in her longtime and ongoing support of the Honor Flight Network (HFN)—a program that provides WWII veterans the opportunity to visit the National WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C. With their support of HFN, Shannon Hemstreet and others help provide veterans the chance to experience an incredible and enduring monument to their service and sacrifice during one of the most critical and deadly conflicts in human history. The Honor Flights program covers every veteran’s travel, hospitality and meal expenses during each trip to D.C.—ensuring each participant’s experience is as rewarding as possible.
