  3. Starting from Scratch • Does life have a meaning? • Option 1: Yes, the meaning is given by the same one who intelligently designed us. Isaiah 43:7 • Option 2: We have no idea.

  4. Starting from Scratch • Who or what decides what is meaningful, significant, moral? • Option 1: The one who created us and gave us meaning decides what is meaningful. Ecclesiastes 12:13 • Option 2: We don’t know for sure, therefore, the importance of things is subjective.

  5. Starting from Scratch • Is there even such thing as right and wrong? • Option 1: Yes, the Creator decides. Daniel 9:14 • Option 2: Well, we think we know some things that are right and wrong (the obvious ones).

  6. Starting from Scratch • Are you accountable for your actions? • Option 1: Yes, you are accountable to the Creator at any time he makes you accountable. Matthew 25:46 • Option 2: We don’t know. (This is really a reason some like the idea of no God)

  7. Closing • God is where we came from. • God gives us meaning. • God decides what is meaningful. • God decides right and wrong. • God makes us accountable in his time.
