  10. WORLD REALITY • Around 700,000 children die every year from diarrhoea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation – that’s almost 2000 children a day.

  13. WORLD REALITY • Half the hospital beds in developing countries are filled with people suffering from diseases caused by poor water, sanitation and hygiene.

  15. WORLD REALITY • For every £1 invested in sanitation, at least £8 is returned in increased productivity and a reduced burden of healthcare.
