  12. What do you enjoy most about today’s visit? We were able to serve the communityandcommunicate in dialectwith the elderly. - Lau Jin Mei, 1E7 I enjoyed playing and singing with the elderly. I liked playing ‘bowling’ with thembecause they were very happy when they knocked down the bottles with the beach ball. When I saw that, I was happy too. - Lee Jia Wen, 1E6

  13. List 3 areas that you have done well for this visit. I have given a listening ear to the elderly. I approached the elderly politely and initiated conversationswith some of them. I overcame my shyness and was cheerful while entertaining the elderly. I did not hurt their feelings by asking insensitive questions. I helped to push the wheelchair-bound elderly to the MPH for the games. I interacted well with my sister Brownies.

  14. List 2 areas that can be improved for the 2nd visit. We could have been more interactive even when the elderly were not very responsive. We should prepare more games to play with them. There should be more songs in dialect for the elderly and we must sing them well. We must learn and practise the dialects so we can have more conversation with them. We must be more patient and helpful towards the elderly.

  15. What is your biggest takeaway from the visit? We must be more compassionateand care for the elderly. - Chai Wen Yu, 1N2 I learnt more about the elderly, especially the things theyare capableof doing despite their disabilities. - Wang Qiao Rou, 1E7

  16. What is your biggest takeaway from the visit? I learnt that I should be more caring and get to know my two grandmothers while they are still alive and healthy. - Robyn Carillo, 1E4 I learnt that when we make someone happy, we will feel happy too. - Lee Jia Wen, 1E6

  17. What is your biggest takeaway from the visit? I will take care of my parents when I grow up. I felt really sad when I saw the smiles on the elderly’s faces because I knew they really wanted to be with their family members. - Nurul ‘Akasyah, 1E7
