EXPERIENCE ON TRAINING PROJECTS IN CENTRAL ASIA • Turkmenbashi Refinery Training Center, Apr 98 to Sept 99 • Preparation in France and Turkmenistan/ Assessment/ Training needs/ Training/ Final Assessment • Training modules in Russian, theoretical (Polytechnicum University), practical (ACP experts & contractors) and simulator (RSI, ACP partner). • Logistics : contractors (RSI, Polytechnicum, DCS, UOP process), equipment & tools (computers, simulators…) manuals, translation & interpretation • The training 20 star operators, 60 new operators; 26 weeks training plan covering • -Background recap • -General chemistry (Anal lab, English, Measur & Control, Maintenance, Safety) • -Applied training (Advanc English & PC, applied Physics & Chemistry, Oil & Gas products, Process simulation, Instrum & DCS, Operation & safety)

EXPERIENCE ON TRAINING PROJECTS IN CENTRAL ASIA • Kashagan ENI Training Center, Jan 05 to Dec 06 • Modules developed abroad (ENI Petroleum University), 18 sessions of 22 weeks (60 students/session) : • Exploration, Production and Processing of hydrocarbons • Reservoir • Well completion • Oil & Gas : definitions, process & mechanical equipment, treatment plant • -KCO production facilities description • -Process general description • -Measurement & Control • -Materials and assembling • -Maintenance • -Basic HSE • -Field practice • -Assessment

  6. The Atyrau Training Centre • 15 classrooms, including Multimedia/IT room and Library • 3 Workshops and 1 Chemical Laboratory with chemicals storage • Process Training Area with Process and Drilling Simulators • Dynamic simulator that replicates Eskene West & ‘D’ Island processes

EXPERIENCE ON TRAINING PROJECTS IN CENTRAL ASIA • Khiva UrgenchTransGas Training Center (TACIS project), July 05 to Dec 06. • Pipeline engineers/technicians :Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan • Preparation in France and in Uzbekistan/ Assessment/ Training needs/ Training/ Final Assessment • Training modules in Russian, theoretical (Gubkin Institute); practical (TECHNIPIPE/ACP experts) and “train the trainers”.

Technical Audit Pipelines @ PNIS • Khiva Training Center • Training Plan made up of 8 Modules designed after Competence/knowledge assessment • Modules 1 & 2 : engineering, design, construction and maintenance of pipelines (Khiva, Almaty & Moscow) • Module 3  : Inspection (using tools sourced from European suppliers)

Technical Audit Pipelines @ PNIS • Khiva Training Center • Module 4 : On site Above ground Inspections (in Bishkek area) • Module 5 : On line Pigging (in Samarkand with Rosen) of 40’’ x 156 km. • Modules 6 & 7 : PNIS implementation operation & maintenance (theory only) • Module 8 : Train the trainers (for the Beneficiaries to be able to train in their own countries)
