The Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, the third day he rose from the dead , he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;.

  8. The Prayer Response Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

  9. The Prayer Responsecont. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The Old Testament Isaiah 55:10-13 (NKJV) 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,And do not return there,But water the earth,And make it bring forth and bud,That it may give seed to the sowerAnd bread to the eater,11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;It shall not return to Me void,But it shall accomplish what I please,And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

The Old Testament Isaiah 55:10-13 (NKJV) 12 “For you shall go out with joy,And be led out with peace;The mountains and the hillsShall break forth into singing before you,And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;And it shall be to the Lord for a name,For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

  12. Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

  13. The New Testament I John 2:1-6 (NKJ) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. The Test of Knowing Him 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

The New Testament I John 2:1-6 (NKJ) 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

  23. Congratulations to our 2014 Graduates! Join us as we recognize and honor our graduates today, during the 11am worship service. Let’s show our graduates that we support their success and accomplishments.

  24. Please continue to bring mashed potatoes, mac n’cheese, and rice each Sunday in July. We need to collect 800 boxes each Sunday to meet our goal.. Today, WOMEN are asked to count cans today after the 11 AM service. Feeding 7000 8000

  34. National Night Out Tuesday, August 5th Brentwood School Lawn 6:00 PM. Churches involved: Williams Memorial CME, Living Water Baptist, Greater New Hope, Greater Mt. Calvary Holiness Church and Oak Grove Baptist Church. Please come out for food, entertainment, fun, games and door prizes. Please brush up on your Black History and study your Bible.

  35. Baptism by Immersion Sunday, Augsust10, 2014after the 11:00 AM service. Please sign up at the welcome desk. All participants may wear sweat pants, long t-shirts, bring a sheet and towel on the day of baptism.
