Influences of Agronomic Characteristics and Quality in Three Different Winter Barley as Change the Integrate Temperature in Korea Jong-Nae Hyunab*, Mi-Jung Kima,Jee-Yeon Koa,Mi-Ja Leea, Yang-Kil Kima, In-duck Choia Jae-Seong Choia, Sang-Gun Choa, ,Ki-Jong Kima, Jung-Gon Kima a National Institute of Crop Science, Rural Development Administration, Suwon, 441-857, Korea b International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), Texcoco, CP 56130, Mexico Table. Agronomic characteristic according to the integral temperature in three barley variety (H. vulgalae) in Korea Winter barley is one of the most effected in yield and quality as climate change in winter season. Recently, the temperature has being increased in Korea peninsula. This study was conducted to find out the responses the agronomic and quality by climate change in winter barley • Materials : Keunalbori1(Hull Barley), Saessalbori(Hullless Barley), Hompum (Malting Barley) • Methods :Seeding Interval : From 25th. Oct. to 15th. Nov.( 5 Times) Fertilizer(N-P2O5-K2O):7.8-7.2-3.6/10a, Sowing Distance: 40×18cm Integral temperature : Sum of average temperature a day • Investigation Facters : Character of Agronomic & Quality as RDA criteria Table. Quality characteristic according to the integral temperature in three barley variety (H. vulgalae) in Korea Table. Emergence time, Heading time, Maturing time and Integral temperature according to the different sowing time in barley variety (H. vulgalae) in Korea ★ LSD : 5% ※ IT : integral temperature in period of growth ※ DT : Difference of integral temperature from maturing to heading time Fig. The View of maturing stage under different sowing times at 25th. May The three barley varieties, leading varieties in Korea, were sowing at 5 times from 25th October to 15th November a 5 days interval in order to calculate difference integral temperature and investigated the characters of agronomic and quality. The sprout time is delay and Integral temperature unstil the heading time was shorter as the late sowing in three types of barley but it was similar integral temperature in maturing period. The yield potential was reduced by the decrease the No. of spikes per ㎡ which is owe to early matured by a increased temperature in winder season The quality such as protein, β-glucan, starch, test weight except Saessalbori were almost constant but the 1,000 grain weight except Saessalbori was the heavier by the shorter integral temperature it was a concern the a few culm. It showed the optimal integral temperature in hull barley was a rage 1,325∼1,370 ℃ and 1,348∼1,380 ℃in hullless barley and 1,251∼1,260℃ in malting barley Fig. The View of growth stage according to different sowing times in barley
