  5. Passwords • AVOID Learning other’s passwords! • Remember: • The Golden Rule- do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

  6. Dependability & Responsibility • Dependability • May be counted on to perform specific acts • Responsibility • Answers for the acts performed

  7. Adaptability & Versatility • Adaptability • Defines how you adjust to changes • Versatility • Bringing a broad scope of skills to the table

  8. Sensitivity • Sensitivity • the ability to appreciate other’s feelings & emotions

  9. Communication • Assertive • Respectful • Elicit Answers • Listen carefully • Ask Questions • Take Notes • For Example, “Was there an error message?” or “When did it last work?”

  12. Anti-Static Tools • Tool Kits • Anti-static Wrist Strap • Anti-Static Mats • Always put components into anti-static bags

  13. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) • EMI- A magnetic field interfering with electronics • May cause permanent damage to pc and components • Never get close to a magnet

  14. Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) • RFI • Many devices emit radio waves! • Examples include cell phones, wireless network cards, cordless phones, baby monitors, microwave ovens • Two devices close together creates a big problem!
